While recovering from major surgery and bring quite inactive due to complications, I decided to upcycle a pair of jeans that I bought from the op-shop (thrift store).
The jeans are completely hand embroidered with embroidery floss, vintage buttons, doillies, ribbons and vintage trims.
Most of the items used to embellish the jeans were with bought from the op-shop or gifted to me by ladies at the craft groups that I go to or given to me by my mum.
The only things I bought from Spotlight (haberdashery) were some embroidery floss if my mum didn’t have the color that I needed.
The whole project took me around 2 months working on it at least 10 hours a day. And cost me less than $20 Australian.
