• I finally got a full set of tiles for my 1980s Scrabble (although many years of playing with a half-set was a ~thrilling~ intellectual challenge), so I used the oldies to make some coasters + fridge mags. The backing is an old plastic shelf liner; magnets are salvaged from a trashed shower curtain!
• Made a 2XL tshirt into a dress – took in width, added contrasting fabric at bottom, removed sleeves, and added armhole binding. All sewn by hand because I don’t have a machine!
• Found a wooden chest in the trash. Turned the bottom part into a planter and the top part into a piece of art! One less thing in the landfill
