So I like leather purses but decided it would be better to buy a cheaper fake leather one. Well it has been about two months and the color is coming off the bag in flakes. It is around the edges and where it bends. I do like the bag and would prefer not having to buy one new. I heard about how Japanese people fix things and make the fixed part stand out. So I was thinking of putting a metal foil or something metallic where the color has come off. So should I use a foil with glue or just get some nail polish to use on it to cover the bits that came off? I think it would look kind of cool repaired with a metallic something. Just not sure what to use as this is a daily used item. Can someone please offer advice to me.
