There was a day that the sun never shines on my face and the winter cold seeks my body to embrace, a day that my friends suffer for they cannot eat nor sleep. As I was sitting in my desk wondering why are they so frail while those people in power always give them something to fail. These people who are always pretending to be best, oh how I wish someday they would be in their eternal rest.

My friends cover themselves with pretentions and those fake smiles and joy they always revealed, yet their grief and torment are always sealed. Locked up into their minds for the sake of nobility and camaraderie, I could say that my friends have always been into come what may. What must be done in this kind of situation, were there is injustice and hunger resides every day?

One of my friends has been into a trial of hate and rate by those people who wear formal suits and called themselves great. He has been interrogated to demise, but kept his plea and sadly denies, “My family needs to eat and we need to live” as he says. What could be worse than containing you in a room full of condemnation and deprivation to face? He exits the room with honor and pride, for he fought for us side by side.
Every time I glimpse at you through the transparent door, I always imagined myself how lucky I am to be your lover. I never realized that you would answer “Yes.” This time I’ll make it sure that I’ll do everything to show how much I love you. I have always wanted this feeling of fascination “to be loved by you”.

As I see you’re long black hair swaying into the breezy air of the night, you’re kissable lips that could melt the numb and cold inside my heart, your hands that could calm my breath into a never ending dream of solidarity. I don’t want this feeling to subside.

I always dream of you wearing church dresses, walking down the aisle with a veil on your head as I wearing my formal suits awaits for you at the end of the line. I don’t want to say how much I needed you nor how much I’ve wanted you because all these years I have always been waiting for you to come into my life.

I guess you were just a little late, and I was so careless not waiting for you. The truth is I don’t want to lose you nor say the word goodbye because I never wanted any heartaches again. I don’t want to end our never ending story of love, for you will always be in my life above. I consider you as my dove that always flies into the midst of my broken night. I’ll never get tired of shouting your name telling you “I love you is all I have to say”.

I tried to attend a holy worship in one of the churches nearby; they say that you have to be in formal cocktail dresses if you want to attend the worship. I wanted to laugh until I die when I heard that because I think that worshiping must not depend on what a person wears inside a church.

It’s like saying that salvation is only for the rich and supreme, and the poor ends failing. But then I decided to wear formal dresses because I don’t want to be criticized by other people inside the church. When I entered the church, the Holy Eucharist is not yet starting, and in my surprise everyone was talking with each other, whispering and chatting. And I thought to myself, is this the so called meditation-talking-to-god looks like?

When the worship began, everyone was dancing and clapping, and I realized this is fun like I was on a disco house, so I danced and clapped my hands too. After that, there was a preaching session, and the audiences were just listening to the preacher wearing formalsuits. I tried to understand their beliefs and principles, but something is not right, so I didn’t listen to the preacher.

I am a metal head. I never believe in the existence of God. I always say it to myself “I stand alone.” I am an iconoclastic person, destroying the dogmatic principles of the so called “holy kingdom,” because I perceived it as a sign of stupidity and mediocre.

Every time I see people wearing church dresses after their so called “praying”, I ask myself, if these people have their own minds, I find it very annoying to see that they are just being manipulated by these spiritual organizations. But then I realized something: they are users of what they call “god” because they only come to him when they needed something.

As I’ve remember, the basic principle of life is to survive and live until you die. There is no supreme being and the only thing you can do is live life to the fullest.

Why are those people who lived their life in a golden spoon, does almost everything just to stay on the top. These people are most likely to become successful in life, their mastery of the art of deception makes them more supreme, and enables them to take every one elses right's and freedom. Even this days many are being maltreated without their knowledge because they cant speak up against their "Masters".

Where does these so called human law put us in this cruel world? Where is justice when those who are to be the judge wearing formal suits are just mere puppets of those who reign Supreme?

I’m a skeptic person. I denounce all the mediocre and criticizers who are always wearing special occasion dresses when they worship their god. Even though I don’t believe in god, I never condemn nor disrespect other people. I always believed in the ideological basis of science. But the world of science is not sufficient because the reality is very broad and vast.

But I would still choose the side of science because it has proof and evidence of existence than the spiritual aspect. If you would take a look at the religious aspects, you would notice that there are so many blunders and false statement. One good example is the so called “three in one god.” For Christians, they always insist that there is a three God in one persona, but come to think of it, if you would read the bible, there are evidences and proofs that there are three gods in three persona's.

In Genesis there is a statement wherein god said, “Let Us make man in our own image.” This is a proof that God is never alone in the creation of man. But the most accurate example that there are three gods is when the son of god, Jesus of Nazareth, was crucified, before he died he always said the word “Father”. This means he has a father in the so-called heaven—a concrete example of the many blunders and false statements in our dogmatic religion.
The heart of operations as a family should reflect a core belief. Every small effort to make the home a safe and welcome place where relationships happen is con-nected to what one thinks about the Earth. God's Green Home presents one's home through the lense of sustainability, helping design and maintain the home for the sake of those being nurtured within it. Greener choices, from construction to dinnertime conversation, improve the green quotient of a household and create a healthier environment for the life of the family.

I cannot express how deeply excited I am to be the executive director of God's Green Home! Welcome aboard, friend. Chuck Swindoll said years ago something I love, "Home, where life makes up it's mind." That's what we're all about. Home is indeed a place where we grow and change...where our longings of comfort and care are satisfied. Home is a place we leave from and come back to. A place where we belong, a place of teaching and loving, a taste of heaven.

Now did that sound like YOUR home? I had to laugh out loud when I typed that because, let me tell you, I was a mother of four kids under five years old at one point and that didn't sound like my home at all! All of us have seasons when we feel our home is anything but beautiful, green and lifegiving. A number of people though the years have come into my home and commented on the peace, order and life they sense there. I stand there amazed because I was just yelling (loudly) at the kids to throw the dirty underwear under the coffee table into the laundry room and grab the escaped birds (whom the dog was chasing) and put them back in their cage!" You get the picture -- not exactly perfect peace and order.

Yet it's in those chaotic moments we choose to start simply but simply start. We choose to let go of what we can't control and embrace what we can. We choose to focus on the potential of life, joy and the beauty that surrounds us. We choose to live life from the ground up. Perhaps you are new at "the green thing" and tempted to think "If I can't do it perfectly I won't do anything at all or I don't even know where to start?" Well, friend, you are in great company. Here is the wonderful news. A green home is just a healthy home that gives life, and it starts with one simply thing, taking the next step in the right direction. I'm glad you're on this journey with us! We're all here to start simply, but simply start. There is courage and boldness to just beginning.
My family gave me a little herb garden kit for Christmas. It's still in the box. My fear is that I've killed so many plants in the past that I don't want to keep adding to their number. But I have a friend who grows a sizable garden, composts almost everything and generates very little garbage. Her huge contribution inspires me to start small. Today I found that the US EPA tells us everything we need to know about composting, including indoor composting for my tiny herb garden. This moves me to take one simple step.

Don't tell me I'm the only one. Usually we take it all down on King's day, but that fell in the middle of the week and then....OK, I won't tell the whole sad story, but the tree still stands today. Thanks to earth911.com I learned that the Boy Scouts are still recycling trees with two more curbside pick ups this month. They also will take cell phones, glasses, inkjet cartridges, rechargeable batteries, single-use batteries, toner cartridges and more. It's a new year, a new chance to simplify, a great time to get rid of things I don't use. Search earth911 in your area and it will list all the organizations in yoru zip code who are there for your recyling pleasure...and more. Great resource.

Many towns don't help with recycling, but I'm grateful ours does. Problem is that it's not in our budget to order the service. That might be a good excuse not to make the effort, but I found a simple solution. I have to get the recycling bins out of site before my husband tosses them into the regular trash. (read: not on board) My neighbor doesn't fill her can every week. Neither does my other friend one block up. So, Monday mornings I take a little "walk" with my recycling bins and shove them in an empty green can. I figure I'm making the most of their investment! And no more excuses for me.

Do you like water? Do you like water bottles? Well no, not the plastic ones... but the metal ones. Sure, you've seen aluminum bottles. But have you seen steel ones? That's right, food grads stainless steel water bottles. And here's the thing... Quench Steelworks is doing them with the coolest graphics that I have seen!

My personal favorite is the "New Black" style. I have one. Well, I had one. You see my wife has claimed it because she loves it too. She get comments on it every time she has it out in public.

I'm not one to normally care some much about how my food containers look. But, you see, these bottles will last a very long time. And why not enjoy the bottle that will sit on your desk and be at your side everywhere you need water for years and years to come. In fact, these are even covered by a lifetime warranty.

So, check them out at www.quenchweb.com and I think you'll agree that these bottles are pretty cool.

Keep it simple. Keep it green.

	Ben
