It is a wonderful thing when you can enjoy what you do. And, lucky for me, working with God's Green America has been a joy (so far anyway...). One of the greatest parts of working with God's Green America is working with all of the talented team members that have been put together to make this thing happen,
One of God's Green America's newest team members... and one that I am very excited to work with, is Brad Bischoff. Brad and his friend Bob Zegler will be making original videos and editing pieces for God's Green America.
I have personally spent at least two hours (if not more) in the past few days watching videos that Brad and Bob and some of their friends have done. Their creativity and humor are impressive. The piece that we're sharing today, however, is simply moving. Rather than tell you all about Eyelids and my thoughts, here is something from Brad.
"Eyelids started out first and foremost as a children's book. It wasn't until a few weeks into the process that the idea of turning Eyelids into a film geared towards children became a possibility. It is my hope that with the presentation of the children's book and film together, we can garner the attention of parents and children alike with a universal theme: everybody wants to be noticed by the ones they love. We are still seeking resources to get the children's book into production with design work by Rubbish's Nick Santore (www.NickSantore.com). We were fortunate enough to be able to screen the film at festivals such as Chicago International, Sante Fe and the short film corner at Festival de Cannes. We are looking forward to the Chicago International Film Festival this October where we will be premiering our new short film, WET.
Hope you enjoy the film as much as we enjoyed making it."
Keep it simple. Keep it green.
